1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files or identifiers stored or accessed by a website through a browser or device. They can support security, core functions, preferences and measurement.
2. Categories
Strictly necessary
Required for security, session management, forms, consent choices and essential website operation. These cannot always be disabled through the site.
Analytics
If enabled, analytics help us understand aggregate website use and improve pages. Non-essential analytics should follow the visitor’s consent choice and the site’s actual configuration.
Functional or external media
Maps, video, social-media links or other external services may set or access data when used. Where appropriate, these services should be blocked until consent or opened as external links.
3. Current cookie register
Before launch, run a scan after all WordPress, WooCommerce, analytics, map and consent settings are final. Record the cookie name, provider, purpose, category and duration here. Do not publish a generic list that does not match the live site.
4. Managing choices
Use the website’s cookie controls, where displayed, to accept or reject optional categories. Browser settings can also remove or block cookies, but disabling necessary storage may affect website functions.
